Just like the game itself, this guide is pretty weak with a few bright spots. The nutshell here is that there isn't a single thing in this guide you can't find somewhere online, and, to be honest there's even less. The civilians for the aliens to harvest aren't mapped out like the trophies for each campaign, but instead buried in the text. I've seen better information on this online. The walkthroughs are as generic and basic as they come and the book even states it was written with 'Normal Mode' in mind. To me, that's pretty weak, considering the PS3 Trophies / Xbox achievements are made for Hard Mode and Nightmare Mode. And both of those modes are where you'll need need help anyway - not Easy or Normal Mode. The info contained in the walkthroughs is also more of a vague guide than helpful strategies, which, to me, is what strategy guides are all about, right?? The best things about this guide are the level maps and the few pages dedicated to the Multiplayer mode. But even the Multiplayer pages are missing info (IMHO) that would be useful, such as detailed info on how the game is scored and screen detail for each of the Multiplayer modes. All in all a pretty weak effort by Brady Games but at least it's consistent with the companion product it's made for ;-) It's no wonder this guide went out of print so fast....

I own Alien VS Predator for the PC. You definately need the strategy guide there are missions that are extemely hard and challenging. If you are playing as Predator one mission has you leaving your ship and blowing up a alien nest, unfortunatly it is timed you have to return to your ship before you blow up. The caves and taverns are confusing and you seem you are going in circles. It helps a lot when you are stuck.
I have peeps who work in the industry and told me any time you get a game and a strategy guide comes with it get it.
I use it to get out of jams or trying to find hidden items.
This is my fifth Xbox 360 Game.
Strategy Guides go out of print faster than the games.
